Something I drew way back in March but I forgot to post it because I got super sick for a month. I was reminded of it when I heard about the recent heatwave killing over 1 billion marine life on the West coasts.
Parents always say “I’ll do anything for the health and happiness of my children.” But I find that hard to believe with the speed we’re killing our planet.

For anyone wondering what the actual reason for this behaviour is, the darker hen is trying to take that egg so she can brood it herself, but because chickens don’t really understand cause-effect, she accidentally pushes it under the sitting hen and then gets mad at her for ‘being in the way/“stealing” the egg’
